ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS' REPORT

Welcome back to Term 3; we hope all families had a restful and enjoyable break. 

UNIFORM

All students need to be wearing full winter uniform correctly. This includes traditional leather lace-up school shoes (not black runners), and the College blazer to and from school during Term 3. Students must not be wearing socks that have a brand displayed, while PE uniform must only be worn on a day when students have Sport/PE.  We will conduct several uniform checks throughout the term and the Student Managers and Principal Class will be monitoring our students’ uniform before and after school. 

STUDENT CHROMEBOOKS - IT support

Our Chromebook program plays a vital role in delivering an effective and engaging curriculum. With everyone using a standard platform, we can ensure all students have access to specific online tools and updates, as well as effective IT support - these are the benefits of our Chromebook package. If your child is experiencing any IT issues they need to go to the IT office or email help@mckinnonsc.vic.edu.au. Students can also check selfserve for all things tech-related. There are lots of videos and guides to help you access and manage our IT platforms effectively. 

PARENT-TEACHER-STUDENT CONFERENCES - Advanced Notice

Please note that our Semester 2 Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences will be taking place on Monday 5 and Thursday 8 September. These conversations will again be done remotely via Google Meet. More details about booking interviews will be provided closer to the date.
