Week 2 Term 2:

During the Vacation Care period we had three visitors; Wheelie Kids, Kids Art Space and Rock Climbing. We also had two excursions to the Semaphore cinemas and Melbas Chocolate Factory, the Toy Factory and the Giant Rocking Horse.

Our in-days consisted of technology, art and craft, baking Anzac Biscuits and playing soccer and basketball games.

The children and the educators both had a fun and enjoyable holiday period with plenty of laughter and memorable moments. Please have a look at our sign in book for photos and comments of what your children have been up to!

Vacation Care Newsletter: April Vacation Care Newsletter is now available from the OSHC room, front office, attached below or online on the LNPS website.  Be sure to pick up a copy to see all the fun things we got up to these holidays!

Vacation Care payments: A friendly reminder to all families that used Vacation Care during the April school holidays; all fees need to be finalized by the end of Week 4 to avoid any further action.

OSHC Program: During week 1 & 2 the children have looked at the new ‘Environment’ focus. The children have taken part in exploring what the environment means to them and how they influence their environment. The children have drawn trees, used recycled materials and helped to water the OSHC garden. The children will continue to explore the environment focus and hopefully build and expand their knowledge on the environment, environmental factors and what makes a happy and healthy learning and living space.

HATS: Just a reminder that children are no longer required to wear hats before and after school when playing outside for the duration of Term 2 and 3.

Attention Parents: Please be mindful to all parents that when collecting your child/ren from OSHC that the educators are also looking after other children and may not be able to talk for longer than 5 minutes as it distracts their focus away from the other children. If you have any urgent matters please feel free to contact the Director between the hours of 8am-4:00pm.
