Mothers' Day Wrap

It was great to see so many families enjoying our Mother's Day Breakfast last Friday. The weather was perfect and there was certainly plenty to eat! We hope you all enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with old and new friends alike.

Our Mothers' Day Stall was a hit with our savvy shoppers from Years Prep-6 so we hope all mums received something of a surprise. It is always wonderful to see the careful consideration the children display as they choose the perfect gift for mums and grandmothers.

Thank you very much to our helpers on the day:

Julie Simpson, Jill Zavalas, Cathy Cheesley, Tina Fezzoli, Belinda Miller, Val Taylor and Bernadette Walsh.

Encouraging Good Behaviour

As you all know, we have a membership with Parenting Ideas, one of Australia’s most trusted sources of parenting education and support.

As part of this membership, all parents and carers in our community can attend this highly recommended webinar which explores the concept of discipline and how parents can encourage good behavior in children. And the best part is that it's FREE.  Click below to watch an overview of the Webinar, from Dr Coulson .

It's super easy to attend. Just follow the simple prompts .

Winter Uniform

It is expected that all children will be wearing winter uniforms next Monday 16th May which is the first day of Week 3.

Uniform items can be ordered through the school office. You can locate the Order Form on our website via the following link: https://www.cckingsville.catholic.edu.au/enrolment-information/uniform/

The easiest way to order is to complete the form and email it to info@cckingsville.catholic.edu.au

You will then be contacted to arrange a payment and pick-up time.

Alternatively, you can drop off your order form in person at the school office.

Please note that uniform requests may not be able to be purchased during busy times or on the same day.

Student Portfolios

We hope you have taken the opportunity to celebrate with your child their Term 1 achievements as contained in your child's portfolio.

It is important that the portfolio be returned to school this week so that we can continue to compile samples.

God bless
