Schools Tree Day

On Friday 5 August EHPS had their Tree Planting Day!  It was wonderful to see all the children getting out in the gardens and planting plants and seedlings such as lomandra, callistemon, lavender, a variety of succulents, grasses and ground covers.  We hope the children enjoy seeing their seedlings grow.  Thanks to the heavens, rain only came after the planting had ended to help give our seedlings a good watering in!  A huge thank you to Angela Millan (mother of Sophia 6T) for picking up 100 seedlings for us.  Also a huge thank you to Mark Williams (father of Trien, 2D) and Ian McKindley (father of Keira, 6T) for volunteering their time and assisting the children of EHPS with this exciting project!  This event could not have run so smoothly without the help of these parents!

Thank you Mark!
Thank you Ian!
Preps, with a bit of help from the big kids, enjoyed getting their hands dirty!
Year 2's doing some ground work!
