DEVOTION

We Can Always Talk to God

This week we had the privilege of hearing from Pastor Neville Doecke in Worship. He reminded us that we can always go to God in prayer. In our prayers we can share our concerns, fears and frustrations with God, as well as our successes and appreciations. One of our Year 6 students, Kholo Moyo, shared this prayer that she wrote:

Dear God,

We are sorry for all the sins we have committed and we ask that you forgive us. Thank you that we can come together as a school community and we pray for gentleness and happiness throughout our school. Help us to be kind and respectful to others and always make the right decisions, even if nobody is watching. Please help us to be grateful for all we have, and to always do our best.
