St Anthony’s Athletics Carnival
On Thursday the 4th of August for the first time in over two years our school had its Athletics Carnival at Ross Reserve Athletics Track in Noble Park. Students from Prep to Grade Six hopped onto buses wearing either their House Colours or Sports uniforms to participate in a variety of activities.
It was wonderful to see all the students showing sportsmanship as well as participating in all the activities. Our Preps, Year Ones and Year Twos left around midday to return to School, while our Year Threes to Sixes continued with their track and field events before returning to school later on.
The following day at assembly the students found out that Saint Nicholas house had won the carnival in what is considered the closest margin in the schools history. We like to thank all who attended and supported throughout the day and we look forward to making it bigger and better than ever next year.
