Performing Arts News

In Performing Arts this past fortnight, Grade 1 and 2 have been learning about the elements of dance. Students have been creating simple movements and poses in response to a range of stimulus. Their creativity and willingness to explore new ideas is great to see.

Some excited Preps started Performing Arts last week. It is a joy to be surrounded by their enthusiasm and energy. We are learning about music terminology whilst dancing, singing and playing instruments. 

Coming Up:

We are looking forward to welcoming Stomp Dance Company to Rolling Hills next week. They will be working with students in Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 over the next four weeks in Performing Arts. Students will enjoy learning a dance routine from a professional dance teacher, while working on developing their confidence, technique and dance skills!
