Science

This week was very exciting as each class had their first science lessons in our brand-new Science classroom. You could feel the excitement in the air as each class entered the classroom and pointed at all the cool and interesting things that they could see in the room.

The Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students explored what Science is and what it means to be a scientist. The students drew some excellent pictures of themselves as scientists which are displayed in our science classroom.

On Friday the 11th of February was the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM. The older students at RHPS celebrated this day by learning about some famous women in STEM and their achievements. Students created some amazing jigsaw puzzle pieces with their dreams and interests in STEM.
