SPORT 

The Holt Tennis Tournament was held last Friday at the St James Tennis Courts. St James had 4 fantastic students representing us. It was a lovely morning and all the students played very close games. 

The girls all had tie-breaker matches. Well done to Katie Z and James H who will now progress through to the Beachside Tennis Tournament on the 16th /17th March. Here they will play the top players from all other Beachside Schools. 

Well done also to Lucy S and Charlie S who played some very tough matches also. Katie’s parents were unable to attend so Mr Flanagan took a few minutes to move aside and let her ring mum and dad with the good news!

This Friday 18th February the St James swimming team will be heading to Oakleigh Recreation Centre to compete at the Holt District Swimming Carnival. 

The students meet on Tuesday at lunchtime to talk about everything that they will need for the day. Unfortunately only parents who are volunteering are allowed to attend.

Thank-you to Miss Black who will be accompanying the team to the pool.
