OSHClub

Welcome back!

We are so excited to be back for another year in 2022! We hope that all families had a safe and restful summer break and we can’t wait for an even better year at OSHClub!

What’s been happening at OSHC…

We have had an amazing start to the year at OSHClub as we’ve taken the opportunity to enjoy some fabulous sunshine and enjoy mealtimes outdoors. During these experiences, it has been great to see the children engage with one other and take a moment to reflect upon their day!

In the kitchen, we’ve been cooking up a storm as we’ve baked superhero cupcakes, our own mini pizzas and some beautiful Valentine’s Day cookies! Developing their awareness of proportionality for measurement as well as establishing positive mindsets for healthy eating, the children loved sampling their tasty treats.

It was fantastic to watch the children celebrate Lidia’s special day as they baked her favorite chocolate cake, sung Happy Birthday and created some amazing birthday gifts. Happy Birthday Lidia!

What’s coming up this term at OSHC?

We have lots of exciting things planned this year at OSHC, including our new after-school clubs:

Mondays: Waste Warrior’s Club

Tuesdays: Science Squad

Wednesdays: Mini OSHClub Bake Off

Thursdays: Sporting Superstars

Fridays: Art Masterclass

Watch this space to see some of the amazing things we will get up to this term in our clubs!

Our theme this term is all about building relationships with children, families and our local community. We will be using our clubs to explore this theme from different viewpoints to build a more holistic understanding of what it means to be community minded.
