Governing Council News

From the Chair
Wow, what a topsy-turvy start to the school year! On behalf of the Governing Council, we would like to extend a welcome back to all families returning and a warm welcome to our new families joining our Lockleys North PS community. We hope everyone’s start to the academic year has been as smooth sailing as possible - given the circumstances - and that students of all year levels are looking forward to the year ahead.
Involvement in the LNPS Governing Council is a guiding part of the LNPS community and encourages participation by families in the school’s decision-making processes.
Parents and guardians are invited to attend the 2022 Annual General Meeting to gain insight into the School’s strategic direction and the 2021 Annual Report, including a reflection on last year’s Governing Council activities.
The 2022 Annual General Meeting will be held online this year. Please see details on this page.
Involvement in the Governing Council includes the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between parents, staff, student and community representatives, while providing support and direction for a range of school activities, including: finance, education, grounds and maintenance, OSHC, community engagement and sports. If you are interested in participating, please email nominations Tyson.
We look forward to students being back in the classroom next week and connecting the entire community together in person… whenever that may be.
