MaterBald Prize 2017
We are pleased to announce the winners of this years MDCCx MaterBald and People’s Choice Awards. After much deliberation by our independent panel of judges Blake Willis was named MaterBald winner with his intricate and detailed watercolour portrait titled Ella. This year we also introduced online voting where each of the visitors voted in their favourite artwork and the People’s Choice was awarded to Monique Harrington with her portrait titled The Offering. This year we saw a large amount of students exhibiting and each showcased their talents in various artforms. The work really demonstrated the great depth of talent we have at Mater Dei. Thank you to all who participated and we are looking forward to artworks to 2018 MDCCx and MaterBald Exhibition week.
