Year 7 Wellbeing

The Wellbeing Team have started up a Year 7 Club on Wednesday lunchtimes with Ms Yucel and Ms Felmingham in B1, from 1.20pm- 1.55pm. It is a safe space to come and chat, play card games, giant games like Jenga, croquet, noughts and crosses or talk about what it’s like navigating the transition into secondary school. All Year 7 students are welcome!

Young people supporting each other through tough times

A great opportunity for young people to have their voices heard!

Western Sydney University researchers and batyr Australia are conducting a study looking at how young people (16 - 25 years) in the Western Sydney and South and Eastern Melbourne region support friends during tough times. 

What is this study about? 

This research project will examine Australian young people’s experiences of supporting peers who are experiencing tough times and/or mental ill-health. The project will look at the resources young people, like you, have access to, and what information and support you need. 

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and no identifying information about you will be shared in the findings published from this study. The study is being led by Dr Benjamin Hanckel and has ethics approval from Western Sydney University [H14744].
