Year 10 News

Congratulations to all Year 10s who participated in the Visual Arts & Technology Exhibition. A special mention to Emile Boulos for his stunning design work, and to Guy Cosgrave who won the Deans Arts award - may your prize fund your future artistic endeavours. We all look forward to seeing what you produce in future exhibitions at Glen Eira College.

We are excited that our Year 10 students again have the opportunity to attend Araluen Camp and Go Ride A Wave Surf School in 2018. Consent forms and payment options have been sent through Xuno.

Thank you to all Year 10 students who participated in the Relay for Life. Your contribution to raising funds for the Cancer Council's research, prevention and support services, is commendable and admirable. A special mention to Estelle Lipovetsky, Sophie Rowsell and Isabella McFarland whose outstanding music performances are well appreciated.

Year 11 News

A huge congratulations and thanks need to go to the Year 11 students who participated in Relay for Life, raising funds for Cancer Council's research. A big shout out to Sierra Danon and Ashleigh Harris who played a major part in organising students and teachers from Glen Eira College, showing great leadership and responsibility!

The dates of end of year exams have been set, and they are fast approaching. Many Year 11 students who are completing unit 3/4 studies have their first exams within the next two weeks. We want to wish them all the best in their studies!

Finally, well done to Ivan Au-Yeung who received awards in the Australian Science Olympiad for Biology, Chemistry and Physics!

Year 12 Celebration Day

On Tuesday 23rd October Year 12 celebrated the end of their secondary schooling with a day at Funfields. The whole school gathered in a guard of honour to send them off on the day.

Wishing our year 12 students all the very best for the end of year examinations.

Year 12 Important Dates

Wednesday 31st October - Wednesday 21st November - VCAA examinations (full school uniform is to be worn). Students are to arrive for the exams 1/2 hour before commencement of reading time – holding room 204.

Wednesday 21st November - Year 12 Valedictory

Friday 14th December - ATAR results released

Wednesday 19th December - Early offers for international students

Wednesday 8th January 2019 - First round offers for international students

Wednesday 16th January 2019 - First round offers for domestic students
