Year 7 Highlights

New and exciting things have been happening within our Year 7 cohort this term. The Mind Body and Pedal incursion provided a range of activities for students, including bike riding, yoga, Body Shop and the kindness effect. These activities enabled students to learn about the importance of wellbeing.

Congratulations to the Year 7 Girls Water Polo team.  Bella, Olivia, Lulu, Rusha, Natasha and Lola came first in this event. It was a close game as the girls fought until the end.

On Monday 17th September, a group of students attended the Beachside Athletics sports. It was a day full of fun and competition. Congratulations to the following students for their wins.

At the State Finals on Monday 22nd October the boys smashed their PB by 1.5 seconds coming 4th in the State U12-13, 100m relay! They showed great teamwork and motivation in training for their event which has paid off with a great "personal best time".

Students took part in the Relay for Life, which is an amazing 24-hour relay event that aims to raise money in order to help people with cancer. Communities from all over Victoria gathered to recognise and celebrate those who have overcome cancer or are undergoing treatment, as well as the people who care for them.

Congratulations to both students and good luck at the event.
