Book Week Writing Workshop

On the 22nd of July, Mr Casper Pieters held a session during lunchtime on how to get your book published, with 15 students from years 7-12. On that day Mr Pieters told students about his book "Team Savv-i" and what he had to do to get his book published, which included going through a number of drafts and hours of editing. Mr Pieters shared his stories with the students about his journey as a marine biologist, to giving back to the community and becoming a teacher.

Further into the afternoon, Mr Pieters told the students about how to choose the right editor, how to hook the reader, how to make your book interesting and exciting and how to set out your book. Concluding the session, the students asked Mr Pieters questions about his book "Team Savv-i", and his time writing his book. Mr Pieters is also selling his book "Team Savv-i", for the low price of $15.
