Academic Excellence Awards

At last week’s Nazareth Day Assembly, students who achieved outstanding achievements in Semester One, 2017 and were ranked in the top ten of each year level were awarded an Academic Excellence in Learning Award.  These rankings are based on Nazareth College’s reporting data for Semester One and the College celebrated the students who have made the most of their high-level academic abilities to produce consistently excellent academic results.

All students are encouraged to continually strive to achieve their academic best in pursuit of The D’Astoli Trophy that will be awarded in the final awards Assembly at the conclusion of Semester Two which is awarded to one student in each of Years 7 to 11 to acknowledge the top-ranked academic student in each of these year levels.

Activities

Talent Quest

Nazareth certainly has talent! What a privilege it was to watch some truly inspirational acts. Students showed that they could not only hold a tune or move, but hold an audience captive. From thumping rock numbers, to delicate ballads. From solo dancing to charming musical duets the Nazareth Day Talent Quest had it all. As judges, we found it very difficult to choose a winner. All acts deserved our admiration. Congratulations to all our contestants. You were marvellous. Well done to Vanessa Maffrici for ultimately winning what was a delightful show of great Nazareth talent.
