Aussie Hoops community program

The Aussie Hoops program was a huge success! Well done to all the students who took part in the Basketball sessions after school on Monday and Wednesday nights.  Thank you to all the parents/guardians for your support. The students dribbling and shooting skills certainly improved across the program.

Celebrating success

Across Term 1 two students have really excelled across learning, displaying an outstanding attitude, really applying themselves in everything they do and displaying great leadership qualities. Well done Moses and Gracie on an awesome Term 1.

Both Moses and Gracie will be in the mix for the 2021 end of year P.E. Pride day awards.

Active recreation during lunch & recess

Plenty of active reaction activities  (in line with our Physical literacy project) took place during our learning breaks. Monday and Tuesday's at recess time we have been facilitating Foundation to Level 2 activities. Students experience floor is lava, pool noodle tag, basketball bounce sessions and play based activities with the sand. Here is an example of one of the sand activities where students were digging and discovery pirate gold and treasure to keep:

Our school played host to both the Greenvale and Craigieburn District Volleyball events. 32 teams took part across two separate Friday's which generated some terrific finances into our school canteen.

There are 8 schools within the Greenvale District. They are our school (Roxburgh Park Primary School), Greenvale Primary School, St Carlo Borromeo, Roxburgh Rise, Roxburgh Homestead, Good Samaritan, Meadow Heights and Keenolith.
