Be More during Lent

Get your hot cross buns and help raise some 'dough' for Caritas Australia. 

This year, supported by Cripps Master Bakers, St Mary's College is offering traditional or choc-chip hot cross buns in packs of six for the hot price of $6.50. 

Money raised through the fundraiser will go directly to Project Compassion, the annual 

Caritas Australia Lenten fundraising campaign. 

The theme this year is 'Be More', which challenges our school community to make simple lifestyle changes and act for social and environmental justice, so that we can 'be more' in our own lives and the lives of others. 

The College is accepting hot cross bun orders via the Qkr! app until Wednesday 24 March, with all ordered packs to be distributed to classrooms on Wednesday 31 March. 

Thank you for embracing our annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal. 

Play and learn at milangkani! 

Are you looking for a new program for you and your baby, toddler or preschooler? Join us for milangkani, our birth to five program! 

Early Years Coordinator and Kinder Koalas teacher, Meg Kitchen takes you through a variety of play-based educational activities to engage your child's learning and curiosity in different areas of development. 

The group will interact with stations for painting, puzzles, drawing, posting boxes, patterns, stories and sensory games. 

All families in the greater community with children aged between birth and five years old are warmly welcome to attend.

Kinder enrolments for 2022

We wish to remind parents and carers that applications for our all-girls 2022 kindergarten close on Friday 30 April.  You can access the enrolment application form via our website by clicking here. 

And don't forget that our Open Day is taking place next week on Tuesday 23 March, with tours departing Reception (at the lower Brisbane Street entrance) from 9.30am–12.30pm. 

Key date: Grandparents' Day

The College's Grandparents and Special Friends' Day, which was originally planned for March, has had a date change and will now be held on Wednesday 8 September. 

Grandparents and Special Friends' Day is a wonderful opportunity for the young and old to come together and have fun, and our students and families always look forward to it each year. 

More information about this event will be distributed to families closer to the day, but in the meantime, please spread the word so our grandparents and special friends can make arrangements to attend—September will be here before we know it! 

Uniform Shop opening times

The St Mary's College Uniform Shop will close for the school holidays on Thursday 1 April at 4.00pm.
