Clean Up Australia Day 2021

As many of you would be aware, Clean Up Australia Day will be taking place this Sunday 7 March. As a community, we will be formally taking part in the event and help to clean up the neighbouring Strathfield streets. If your son has not registered and is interested in joining us and earning two SOL service points, he can still register by emailing SOLservice@spc.nsw.edu.au or by signing up at the front of the Bangawarra Room by Thursday 4 March.

Night Patrol Donations

Night Patrol will recommence at the start of next term. This is a food service van run by SVDP which goes out each night to feed the homeless and less fortunate. As a community we volunteer two nights a month, as well as supporting other nights with our donations. Over many years, our parent body has been magnificent donating the items we need. We have developed a roster for people to donate several times in the year with all donations being placed on the back balcony of Waterford House on their respective day. Students and staff will then prepare sandwiches and snack packs in the afternoon to go out that evening. We have kept our donations list from last year however if you would like to add your name to the list or remove it, please email frances.spagnuolo@spc.nsw.edu.au by next Wednesday 10 March. Frances will then send out the roster and details to all volunteers. Everyone is welcome to donate more than the requested items as our need at this time is great. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.

Sacrament of Confirmation

St Ambrose Parish Concord West will celebrate its Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday 21 May at 7.00pm and Saturday 22 May 2021 at 11.00am and 2.00pm. If you would like to register for this Sacrament, please contact Megan Harris at the Parish on 9743 1023 on Thursdays or Fridays or email sacraments@stambrose.org.au.  Registration forms can also be picked up from the Church.  Registrations are due on Monday 15 March 2021.
