RE
PRAYER:
Lord, in this Lenten season, we come to you in prayer. You know the deepest prayers of our hearts before we frame them into words. Yet, when we force ourselves to find the right phrases to tell you of our need, we realise how much we depend on you. Walk with us so that our lives become a prayer. You have given so much to us, God. Help us to have the courage and strength we need to give ourselves to you. Help us to kick out of our lives bad habits, poor habits, selfish ways and all things that separate us from you. Help us to understand that we do our own thing best when we line up our lives first with you in prayer.

Amen.

PROJECT COMPASSION
During the season of Lent, we raise money for Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion. The students all have donation boxes in their classrooms and we ask people to donate what they can during this time. By donating, you are empowering communities with hope and helping those in great need to shape a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. You can donate through the boxes at the school or the church, by phoning 1800 024 413 OR visiting www.caritas.org.au/projectcompassion
Thank you in advance for teaching your children to be givers and putting the needs of others before their own wants.
