Today is Clean Up Australia Day and our students were out in force! Thanks to Miss Wood for organising.

Parent Ambassadors

I am delighted to announce that we have 4 Parent Ambassadors who have volunteered to help and support our school as we move forward. Kate Johnson, Bridgette Conway, Suze Mannix & Kelly Laird. 

We will be working together to reignite our parent engagement to support and grow our community. 

Thank you to Paul Davys for organising Dads' Drinks last week and creating opportunities for people to meet socially. 

 

Open Days

We will be holding a couple of Open Days where prospective parents are invited to come and have a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet staff and students.

Performing Arts 

Exciting News .... This year we will be having a whole school production ! We have November 22nd booked in at Kilbreda College and we will reveal which production we are doing next term! We will employ a Performing Arts teacher for the production and we are also currently providing a Performing Arts lunchtime club every Wednesday in the hall. 

 

Sport Leader / Sport Captains

 

This week Alfie, Will & Ocienne organised and ran sports and games for our junior students at lunchtime on Thursday. Congrats and thank you for you leadership! On Tuesday next week the team will be running a soccer game for the Year 3/4s. 

 

Congrats to all our swimmers who represented St Joseph's at the Beachside level!

We are currently reviewing and updating all our policies for compliance purposes under VRQA.

All policies will be available via the website in Term 2 - Our policies (and all Catholic primary schools) will be aligned with centralised policies from Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS)
