Chinese and Vietnamese

Parents group meeting

Parents always play an essential role in their child’s education. At Reservoir High School, we have two major parent groups - Chinese and Vietnamese who meet once a term during school hours.  Through face-to-face communication we are building a bridge with families from non-English speaking backgrounds, giving opportunities to discuss and develop initiatives for the school’s future. Thanks to the parents who attend the meetings regularly. Their great efforts have a momentous and lasting impact on students, by providing a support network and helping the students to develop a positive attitude towards studying and living.

New parents are welcome to join us.

Year 7 and 8 Chinese Class

Recently, our Year 7 and 8 students learnt about Chinese Spring Festival. In this topic, students worked on various cultural elements in art and craft. Students were actively involved in the following activities: paper cutting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese brush painting, red envelope designing and making, and Chinese culture challenge. Students have thoroughly   enjoyed these arts and crafts activities.
