National Volunteer Week

It's National Volunteer Week this week.

 

I would like to acknowledge the wonderful work done by our volunteers. Every moment, and every helping hand, makes a difference. 

 

Thank you once again to all of you for your time and effort. 

Stocktake Sale - SHUS

Our secondhand uniform shop is over-stocked.

On 15 June at 9.00am we will hold a stocktake sale with all uniform items discounted. Come in and grab a bargain!

 

On this day NO FURTHER STOCK will be accepted.

 

Consignees will receive the agreed scheduled amount for their items as per the contracts. Only the revenue to PFA will be altered.

Class Social Reps (CSRs)

It was lovely to check in with our CSRs last week and share ideas about what is working well and event suggestions. 

 

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for volunteering to connect our cohorts and our families and students across the School. They do a wonderful job in helping to create an environment we cherish.

Kilvington Cares – Food Care Meals

In a time of need this community support program makes all the difference.

If you would like to add your name to the supporters list, you will be periodically contacted to view a calendar to cook a meal for a family in our community.

Addams Family Production Service

Sign up here to help serve snacks and beverages at the Pre-show and at Interval on 23, 24 and 25 May. 

 

It's a lively service gig with fun parents helping.  All welcome.

Gratitude Lunch Admin and Maintenance Staff

Thank you for adding a plate to the special lunch table to acknowledge our wonderful team behind the scenes. 

 

Sweet and savoury treats can be delivered to Main Reception in named containers and are available to collect at the end of the day. 

 

We welcome notes of thanks and gratitude to decorate the table. Thank you.

PFA Donation - $30,000 – 2019 Fair & Open Day

This week our PFA Treasurer, Julie Connolly, was able to transfer a donation of $30,000 to the School after the superb efforts of so many people from the 2019 Fair. 

 

Thank you to our entire School community for their support in volunteering, sponsoring and donating goods. 

 

And whilst fundraising is not our primary function, we can be very proud of our efforts, and look forward to seeing our contribution used towards outdoor spaces in the near future.
