Years 8 and 9 Grand Final

Well done to all our Years 8 and 9 students who represented Kilvington in Term 3 EISM Sport.

Out of 17 teams, we had ten teams finish in the top four of their respective ladders. Four teams also qualified for the Grand Final.

GRAND FINAL RESULTS

Basketball Girls - Gold, 2022 Premiers

The Basketball Girls team went through the season undefeated and were always going to be a favourite in the Final. They were too strong for Bialik, winning the match 55 to 24. Bialik selected Alexis Liew as the MVP for the day. Her sister and Captain, Alycia Liew, was a fantastic leader for the team and an outstanding player for the season.

Basketball Boys - Gold, 2022 Runners Up

A fantastic effort by the Basketball Boys team, just going down by 38 to 42 to a talented Knox team. Luke Jin was selected by Knox as the MVP for the day - amazing job!

Girls Football - 2022 Runners Up

During the term, Kingswood College were the only team the Girls Football team lost to, and unfortunately, a similar result occurred in the Final. With many Year 8 girls, the team will look to go one better in 2023. Jaeda Mellow was selected by Kingswood as the MVP - a terrific effort.

Boys Football - 2022 Runners Up

Kingswood College and Kilvington were 1st and 2nd on the ladder for the entire season. On the day, Kingswood had too many good players and defeated Kilvington by seven goals. Liam Anstee was selected as MVP by Kingswood on the day - well done.
