From the Classroom - Room M1 (Eliza)

Last week on Friday 19th August, Miners Rest Primary School celebrated Book Week. Along with the whole school, we first attended a parade in the gym. 

Next, we enjoyed three different activities that were organised, created, and taught by a group of year six students. Each of the activities were structured around one of the shortlisted books for 2022. In M1, we listened to the following books: ‘A Trip to the Hospital’ by Frida Chiu, ‘Blue Flower’ by Gabriel Evans and ‘Walk of the Whales’ by Nick Bland. 

It was great to see students embrace the day by dressing up as their favourite book character! Here are some photos of our costumes and experiences on the day.
