News from our Principal

 Mrs Sue Clay

Dear Parents,

Our Grandparent’s Day was celebrated today with our first whole school Mass in the church, as a community for the first time in 3 years! As we also remembered Mary our Heavenly Mother's birthday, we were able to give thanks for the gift of grandparents in our lives. The morning was made even more special with open classrooms, a visit to the Book Fair in the library, morning tea on Fatima Forum and concluded with the Book Week performance.  What a delightful way to celebrate!

Thank you for the team effort from the amazing staff in co-ordinating the events and putting everything together. If you were able to join us I am sure you felt welcomed and felt the spirit of Our Lady of Fatima alive and active in many ways!

Staff Development Dates

Please take note of the following dates that have been chosen to cause the least disruption to student learning before the end of the year. These dates can also be found on the parent calendar. If for any reason you cannot find supervision for your child/ren there will be supervision available for them at school on any of the following days.

  • Friday 23rd September (Last day of Term 3)
  • Monday 10th October (First day of Term 4)
  • Friday 4th November Staff Spirituality Day ( Term 4 Week 4)
  • Thursday 15th December ( Term 4 Week 10)
  • Friday 16th December (Term 4 Week 10)

( Note: Students last day of school for the year will be Wednesday 14th December)

Finally, I will be on leave for the last two weeks of this term. I leave you in safe hands with Mrs Gordon who will be acting Principal in my absence and Mrs Ford who will be acting Assistant Principal. Thank you for another busy term and for your support. I wish you all a safe and restful holiday break when it comes.
