Learning in S32

Senior School S32 Retallick is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

The year 5 students have had a very busy term 3. 

We have been learning about fractions, decimals and percentages.  We have been working hard on our writing and we have had a focus on Information Reports.  Several students have published exceptional work that can be viewed on our year-level display board (outside of the library).  We also have focused on poetry and the students in S32 wrote and performed a Poem or Rap! 

This week the year 5 students and teachers attended Camp Toolangi in the Yarra Valley. The weather was cold but the sun did shine. The students all had a fantastic time and displayed the 3 R’s doing Pakenham Springs proud! 

I’m sure the students are exhausted from all of the fantastic opportunities that they have had this term and are looking forward to some well-earned downtime over the school holidays!
