Learning in J22

Junior School J22 Turner is sharing the learning taking place in their class…

In Year Two students have been learning about living things and how they grow and change.  With a focus on mammals and reptiles, students looked at the features of each, their life cycles, and their habitats.  Through linking our Inquiry and Visual Arts learning, students were required to choose a mammal or reptile of their choice and create a clay model of their chosen animal along with a triorama of its habitat.  

To further demonstrate their learning, students were asked to complete a Research booklet about their animal.  The research included drawing and labelling a diagram of their animal and its life cycle as well as some interesting facts.

The students of J22 have been working extremely hard over many weeks and are super excited to show you their work!
