Today our Confirmation candidates participated in a retreat commencing with Reconciliation with Father Curran. Following Reconciliation, the children spent time in the Church reflecting on what will happen when they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. The candidates will also join with students from St Joseph’s Barraba tomorrow Tuesday 18 October for a retreat organised by the CSO Spirituality Team. Thank you for your support.

Bishop Michael Kennedy will visit St Michael’s school on Friday 21 October, when he will meet with the Confirmation candidates.

Everyone is welcome to join us for the Confirmation Mass 10.00am, Sunday 23 October, followed by morning tea at St Michael’s School.

October The Month Of the Rosary

October is the month which the Catholic Church dedicates to the Holy Rosary, a Marian devotion which Our Lady loves most and has asked us to pray frequently. During the month of October we will take time to pray the Rosary.

Socktober - Kick Goals for Good in 2022

October is Mission Month where Bishop Kennedy has asked that every school in the Diocese raise funds for Catholic Missions fundraiser ‘Socktober’ This year’s theme is Kick Goals for Good in 2022 focusing on Ethiopia. Malnutrition is a challenge many families face in Ethiopia, especially those with babies and young children. Please be generous and support our Socktober fundraiser by wearing your ‘Crazy Socks or Most Favourite Socks’ and donating at least a gold coin donation on Friday 28 October.
