Acting Head of Senior Years

Reflections from some Year 12s on the GNLC 25th Year Jubilee celebrations:

Seeing the school grow throughout my time was such a blessing. It was quite endearing to see these monumental days come to a school that has made a huge impact in my life. Celebrating the 25th anniversary with so many people was an honour.  Seeing the past and present merge together this week was an everlasting memory.

Seeing all the old photos during the 25 year school assembly of the transformation of the school was really awesome to see. From the little school, it was until now, and knowing it will only get bigger is so exciting. Having the opportunity to be at the beginning of the Gala Ball and interview the people that had/have been a part of GNLC was a blessing in itself.

Attending both events that the school orchestrated for the celebration of the 25th Anniversary demonstrated the effort and joy that all the teachers and principals brought to the school and its students through their wide variety of personalities. It was amazing to see this group of wonderful people come together in one place and celebrate what they had achieved. The display of images at the 25th Anniversary Jubilee Assembly to the past and present members of the College, including its students, brought an immediate sense of nostalgia for events that I hadn't even experienced!

To be part of the 25th year celebration of the College was an honour and a privilege. Being part of the College since Prep, it was amazing to see the opening of the new Junior Years building and imagine all the amazing memories that would occur in it. To see teachers, administration people, and previous people part of the College at the Gala Ball in celebration of the 25 years was a wonderful moment as it showcased their love and pride for the College. Thank you to all the College community for what has been done in the past 25 years and beyond, it has shaped some of the best moments of people's lives - including mine.

Meeting all staff and honourable past members of GNLC was an amazing experience! It was a pleasure to be a part of such a big milestone and I cannot wait to see our College prosper in the future. All glory to God for gifting us with an amazing school environment and outstanding teachers! Thank you for giving us this opportunity, it was definitely a time to remember.
