Head of Middle Years

We were fortunate, as a Middle Year cohort, to be part of something big! The 25 Year celebration of our College allowed our students to feel a sense of belonging, a sense of pride and an understanding that they were part of a broader community! In speaking with many of the students after the event, they were pleased to be able to celebrate the occasion with their peers, learning more about the history of the College and in particular, gaining a greater understanding of the origins of their House teams. Additionally, they were interested in hearing about how the College grew from a small and humble beginning to a place where there are now many buildings, staff and students. Overall, it was a privilege for our Middle Years students to witness and be part of such a special milestone!

There was also a great sense of excitement, enthusiasm and spark when a number of Middle Years students performed at our 25 Year Gala Ball and showcased their talent. This included a drama / dance piece choreographed by Miss Maria Sladecek. Additionally, several of our award-winning Middle Year Bollywood performers stunned the audience with a piece which they had recently performed at the State High School Dance Competition. This all shows how blessed we are with the many interests and talents we have here at our College!
