Airport/Western SAPSASA District Athletics Day

On Tuesday 2nd September, Lockleys North Primary School sent a squad of 40 students to compete in the District Athletics Day, at Henley Memorial Oval. Almost 700 students from 23 local schools took part in this carnival.

We were very proud of our students’ behaviour, efforts and achievements. A number of Lockleys North students were awarded ribbons for a First, Second or Third place finish, in their chosen events.

On Tuesday 23rd September, the State Athletics Championships will be held at SANTOS stadium.

Due to some outstanding individual performances at District Day, seven of our students have been invited to attend the State Day. They are:  Maggie Pearce, Kelly Lipman, Ciarra Prodan, Molly Farmer, Jett Matthews, Jalen Pryor, Billy Barsotti.  We wish them every success at the State Athletics Championships.
