2014 Book Week News "BOOK WEEK PARADE"

On Wednesday 24th September, starting at 9.15am and ending at approximately 10.00am, we will have our annual book week parade. Classes will parade on the Oval (or in the gym if weather is not suitable). Our Student Event Management Forum will compere and assist in the organisation. Students, teachers, parents and families are all encouraged to come to school dressed as book characters or to make some connection to the Book Week theme of “Connect to Reading - Reading to Connect”.  Use your imaginations!!  Students are also encouraged to carry the book that they are ‘connecting’ with.

The Coffee Van will be at school for family and friends from 8.30am!

BOOK WEEK R-7 LEARNER WELLBEING SPECIAL

On Wednesday, students will also meet in their R-7 groups for a special book week activity based on the shortlisted book “Silver Buttons” written by Bob Graham. These sessions are a great opportunity for students to work with different age groups and get to know other teachers better as well as learn and have fun!
