2014 Festival of Music

On Saturday night Cheryl Barker, Lauren Ireland and I had the pleasure of attending the Festival of Music to see 20 students from across years 5,6 and 7 perform. It was a wonderful evening and our students represented LNPS to an extremely high standard. Our students were rated highly at audition and were chosen to sit in the back row due the quality of their singing. Thank you to those parents who attended to support the school and well done to all the students who performed. I encourage any students in years 5,6 or 7 to be involved in the choir in 2015.

Staffing

There is a number of staffing changes that will be occurring next term. Belinda Adams will be taking leave for the first three weeks of Term 4. We are very excited to announce that Sue Thompson will be Belinda's replacement in the Deputy Principal role. Sue was Acting Deputy in Terms 1 and 2. She has a great understanding of the school and this will enbale a smooth change over. We are also hopeful that we will be able to have Sue stay on for all of Term 4. In LA 6 Erin Perkas will be returning from leave. We would like to thank Sarah Tuckfield who has done a wonderful job with the LA 6 students and fitting into the LNPS culture.
