New Japanese Language Assistant

We welcome Ms Haruka Tokuyama as our new Japanese Language Assistant for the next four weeks. Haruka comes to us from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.

The Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (TJFL) program hosts university students from Japan who come to Victoria to share Japanese language and culture while experiencing Australian lifestyle and culture. In addition, the TJFL Program aims to provide opportunities for students to increase their fluency in Japanese. We are most grateful to Ms Leslie Cilia for opening her home and hosting Haruka during her stay.

Hello,

My name is Haruka Tokuyama.  I am 20 years old and I am from Japan.

I was born and raised in Tokushima Prefecture in Shikoku, but now I live in Kyoto by myself.  My hobbies are taking pictures and cooking.

I look forward to meeting you all.
