Genrefying the Collection
In order to embed and expand the reading culture across all year levels at Nossal, the IRC has embarked on a major project of genrefying the entire fiction collection. We hope to complete this task by next term. We believe that genrefying the collection will make it easier and quicker for our students to select the novels from the genres they are interested in.

This year more than 30 students applied to become Library Monitors to assist the IRC staff during lunch breaks. After shortlisting and interviewing the applicants the following eight students were selected:

Thank you to all those who applied for this important role.
Literature Circle/U3A 2020
The first Literature Circle/U3A for this year was held on Tuesday 18 February at the school. It was very encouraging to see 31 members attending the first meeting. The gathering consisted of students, staff and Berwick community members who all got engaged in some very interesting discussion about the books being read and their wider implications.
