Year Three

Year 3 Camp – Gundiwindi Lodge

On Wednesday 4 of September was a very special day. It was the year 3 camp at Gundiwindi Lodge. Do you know how exiting this is? The giant swing, catching yabbies, a flying fox and lots more grades under year 3 will soon experience Gundiwindi Lodge.

I had so much fun at camp because I had my friends in my cabin. The first activity was the giant swing, first I was scared but then I saw my friend do it then I wasn’t scared after watching her do it. Next, I loved the dogs Lucy, Triksey and Jezza. I also liked the flying fox because it was fast and high. The trampolines were so fun. CAMP WAS SO MUCH FUN.

When we went and got to camp it was really fun because there was a dog there that was happy to greet us! Everyone also enjoyed all of the activities and the campfire we had on the first night. We did some more activities the next day along with a yummy breakfast which was pancakes. On our last day of camp we had free time and we cleaned up our cabins. After that we got on the bus and went for a short walk around a lake. Next we played on the playground and had lunch which was sandwiches. Lastly because we were all tired we went back to school.

90 minutes away waiting for us was Gundiwindi lodge! Gundiwindi lodge had a giant swing, archery, a camp fire, a ropes course and of course a flying fox waiting for us. We were all excited about our very first school camp, because we knew we would enjoy the experience.
