Wakakirri - MAD Dancers

On Wednesday the MAD Dance superstars performed at the Wakakirri Awards Night.

We were presented with the ‘Best Inspirational Story’ award. Students demonstrated exceptional positivity throughout the day and their encouragement and support for each other was tremendous.

Although we were not nominated for ‘Story of the Year’ we still have an opportunity to share our story on WakaTV with the People’s Choice Award. We would love The Lakes community to help out by sharing our video on Facebook.

Whittlesea Division Primary Athletics

Congratulations to our Year 4, 5 and 6 students who competed in the Whittlesea Division Athletics Carnival yesterday. The competing students included Armani, Tristin,  Ava B,  Adele,  Ajang and Cooper.

To make this level of competition is quite challenging and all the students who made it to this level exemplified our school values in a fantastic manner.

In addition to these students, a special mention to Abbey E from Year 5 for finishing 2nd in the Girls 200m run and Levi A for finishing 2nd in High Jump.

Well done our Lakes Legends!
