YEAR 7, 2017 TRANSITION DAY
A reminder that the Transition Day for the current Year 6 students and students new to Year 7 in 2017 will take place on Tuesday 8th November. The boys will sit the Allwell Test in the morning followed by Year 7 Homeroom briefings and a tour of the Senior School. The day will start and end at regular times.
The boys will need to bring their morning tea, lunch and a blue or black pen on the day. It will be an exciting day for all involved.
HALLOWEEN
Mrs Martin has impressed yet again with not only her cosutme but more importantly getting the students engaged in reading. It was so exciting to see the boys eagerly fill the Junior School library which was decked out with spooky objects to help set the scene for a few spooky stories – Mr Mason’s Jars and The Lift.
OPAL CARDS UPDATE: STUDENTS GOING FROM YEAR 6 INTO YEAR 7
There seems to be some confusion over the need to update your details for the Opal Card. The free travel on the School Opal Card is given to students based on the distance that they travel. The distances change from Year 6 to Year 7, hence the need for an update. If your son in moving from Year 6 into Year 7 please ensure that you update by following the link below.
https://apps.transport.nsw.gov.au/ssts/updateDetails
The last part of the updating process is to print the form and bring it in to the College for endorsement. These forms can be handed into the administration office.

Report Round 9: This week we played Trinity Prep. St Pius won the toss and so our captain, Frank Houlihan, chose to bat first. The St Pius team were not on their game from the onset. In the first innings our first three batters - Frank Houlihan, Ethan Rossetto and David Casey - were run out and we struggled to score runs throughout the match.
However, Cody Choi managed our two runs home. Alex Vaccher, Patrick Hall and Jonah Gonzales did their best defending the bases. Jhon Evans, Issac Elms and Rowan Roomie covered their areas as outfielders and threw the balls back as quickly as they could. Thomas Wilkins shared catcher position and kept up with the play.
We were out played by a strong opposition but nevertheless it was an enjoyable game to watch. Thank you to Mrs Vaccher for scoring.
Draw for this Saturday 5th November is below.
Note venue change: Oxford Falls at 8am.
