St James Musical

This year the students will be presenting Mary Poppins Junior as our whole school production. Each class will perform one song, which we have already started learning  in our Performing Arts lessons.

On Tuesday the grade 5 and 6 students were given the opportunity to audition for the main acting roles.  We were lucky enough to have two graduates from the Victorian College of the Arts on our judging panel and they were very impressed with the overall talent shown by the students.

I will hold final auditions for those 5/6 students who missed out, on Monday the 3rd of June at recess. 

Congratulations to everyone who auditioned. You showed courage, maturity and dedication, and it was certainly not an easy thing to do, so you should be proud of  yourselves!
