Administration Matters
What a great night was had at the School Barn Dance last Friday. The highlight for me was watching our young students asking other students from their class to be their dance partner. Loved their courage and the fun they all had together. A page of photos for you to enjoy can be found on the Gallery Page of the Newsletter.
We are looking forward to welcoming new students to the School to start Term 3. We trust they will settle in quickly and enjoy being part of our Tyndale family.
Holiday Office Hours
Please note that all Administration staff will be absent for the full two weeks of the School Holidays therefore the Administration Office will be closed for the duration of the holidays.
Administration staff will return to work on Tuesday 23 July 2019.
Phone messages can be left or emails can be sent to LynetteColebatch@tyndale.sa.edu.au and they will all be responded to on my return to work.
Pupil Free Days - Term 3
Please note in the diary section of each Newsletter the term dates throughout the year. Term 3, 2019 commences with two Pupil Free days with the new term commencing on Wednesday 24 July 2019. All staff will be at the 2-day CSA conference along with all staff from the SA Christian School Australia (CSA) Schools.
School Dental Service
Please remember to send in your consent form regarding the Free Dental Services being provided at the School from 5 August to 16 August 2019. There is no need to return the forms if you are receiving dental work elsewhere and do not require access to this free service. Last day to return the form is Friday 26 July (Week 1, Term 3)
Year 10 & 11 Immunisations
Please make a note in your diary if you have given consent for your child in Year 10 or Year 11 to have the Meningococcal Immunisations, that your child will need to be prepared for this on their first day back Term 3 on Wednesday 24 July 2019. Your child can wear the PE Uniform on this day as access to the upper arm is difficult in formal uniform.
Pedal Prix
Our second event is fast approaching on Sunday 28 July 2019.
We couldn't run this program without the generous support of a number of local businesses with their sponsorship so we say thank to the following:
Mt Compass IGA, Strathalbyn Mitre 10, Strathfield Motors, Roger Kiddell Plumbing, Strathalbyn Amcal Pharmacy, Maidments Meats, Strathalbyn Woolworths.
Please support these businesses where you can and don't forget to thank them for the part they played in our Pedal Prix team.
Over 30,000 points raised!
and still counting!!
Huge thank you to all who have collected stickers over the last few weeks and brought them into School or posted them into the box at Woolworths.
We are really looking forward to purchasing new Science equipment for the ELC, the Primary and the Secondary School, with the stickers collected enabling us to access close to $2,000 worth of resources.
Thank you to the Reception class who worked tirelessly on one occasion sticking a bag of stickers onto sheets for us. I think they definitely passed in their fine motor skill development task!
Entertainment Book 2019/20
Last week to return these books before The Entertainment Book administrators contact you for payment.
On behalf of our Administration team, I wish you a wonderful and restful holiday break and a safe return to School for Term 3 free of coughs and colds!
