Digital Technologies tackles Cyber Security

In an increasingly digital world, it has become more and more important for young people to be aware of the benefits and challenges of being a digital citizen. Year 7 students have recently been exploring the practical, ethical and social issues of being online. Students have researched issues related to Cyber Safety including Cyber Bullying, Online Identity, Fraud and Protection from Computer Viruses.

Students were asked to display their learning in a Website, using the wix.com platform. Using this program they learnt about design elements of websites, use of menus and navigation tools, as well as visual elements, such as appropriate use of fonts, colours and images. Here are some examples of their work.
