SHS Soccer Presentation 2015

Thank you to all the players and parents who attended the presentation night on Thursday 10th September. It was well attended and an enjoyable night.

Glenn & Karen Hocking were presented with an Appreciation Plaque for their service and committment to the Shepp High Soccer Club from 2006-2015. Without their support we would not have been able to submit teams into the SJSA competition over these years. The Hocking children no longer attend Shepparton High School however Glenn and Karen have continued to offer their support through administration advice and coaching roles.

SHEROA (SHS/Euroa) Open Girls

Thank you to Dan Napolitano for coaching the girls on Saturday mornings and to Lachie Abbott and Donna Newton for helping out with training on Thursdays after school. Also thankyou to Donna for being the SHS team manager. 

The girls became more of a team as each game was played and did well considering they never trained together having eight players from Euroa and seven from Shepp High. Great effort.

SHS U15 Boys

Thank you to Shaban Sulejman for coaching the under 15 boys team this year. We didnt get any interest from parents to help with coaching so we were lucky that a senior student put his hand up to help out. 

Thank you also to senior players Gresi, Emi and Angelo who supported Shabs in the coaching and team manager roles. The younger players responded well to the older boys and had fun at training as well.

SHS Senior Boys

Thank you to Glenn Hocking for coaching the Senior boys this year. Glenn coached the senior team last year when his son Aaron played (year 12) and generously offered to fill the position again this year when there were no offers to coach. Glenn's assistant coach was Shabs, which in turn helped with his coaching role in the under 15 team, so thank you also for your input into the senior team!  A big thank you to Donna Newton for being team manager of the senior team.

See you next season! We hope to have more parent input into the Club next year especially from the under 15 players families. An information night will be held early February 2016 to see if there is enough parent support to run the Club for next season.
