Interschool Athletics Day

Forty-eight students from Shepparton High School competed at McEwen Reserve for the Inter-school Athletics day.
All competitors fought hard and excelled all day. This shining through with many students from SHS placing in the top three of their events, with the top two making it through in most events. This means that SHS will have strong representation when it competes next term at the Hume Regional Athletics Carnival.

Special congratulations also goes to Wilma Lado and Natasha Keen-Smith who both finished second in their respective age-group categories. Well done girls this is a huge achievement! Shepparton High School finished 5th out of eleven schools competing on the day.
This was by far the largest group of Shepparton High School Students who were taken to the interschool’s athletics day.
Thank you to Mr Sasaki, Mr Sullivan and student teacher Daniel Sullivan for all for their help during the day. This made it more enjoyable and allowed us to have this large amount of students competing on the day.
