Year 11 Careers Excursion

Thirty-five Year 11 students travelled to Bendigo to experience Bendigo Tafe, University workshops and life at LaTrobe University.

This was a great opportunity for students to have a look through a university and tafe option before starting an extremely busy Year 12 in 2016.

Students completed workshops in health, engineering and chemistry and toured the LaTrobe campus.

Bendigo Tafe gave us a tour of their Hargreaves Street Campus. This gave students an insight into pathway options and guaranteed entry to university courses with credit.

We came across former students Laura Ash (LaTrobe) and Josie Fraser (Tafe) who are busy completing their teaching and art courses.
