SHS Annual Writing Competition

Two weeks ago saw the commencement of the school’s annual writing competition. Students are able to enter any writing, either prose or poetry that has been completed by them this year. That can include work completed in class or at home. 

There are separate prizes awarded for Junior (7-9), Senior (10-12) and EAL students. Entry forms are available from all English teachers.

The closing date is Friday 9th October, which is the first week back next term. 

The upcoming break is an ideal time for students to find that great piece they did earlier in the year, or complete a new one. The overall winner will have his or her name engraved on the Writing Award Shield in A-wing and become part of Shepparton High history.
