Vicki Manioudakis

I am an English, Humanities and VCAL teacher at Scoresby Secondary College.

Throughout my time at the college, I have held a number of leadership roles including Humanities and English coordinator, as well as various year level roles.

I am currently the Year 12 coordinator and enjoy working closely with students in their final year of school, guiding and supporting them to improve learning outcomes and achieve their goals.

Outside teaching,  my love is Ashtanga yoga and practice this regularly.  I enjoy the challenges of moving the body into many complex physical postures and the benefits that this movement brings to my day.  I have learnt much from this ancient practice such as mindfulness, mental and emotional strength, breath awareness, concentration and confidence.  I also enjoy volunteering with performing arts festivals hosted at Abbotsford Convent and as a social history tour guide there.

I find that being a teacher is a rewarding career and enjoy seeing the improvements that my students have made throughout the year.  I am looking forward to seeing my students grow in the future and hope to inspire them to achieve their dreams.
