Semester 2

This term, students are working on art to support Geography and aboriginal perspectives. Drawing, painting, collage and construction will be a focus when learning about Australian landscapes and dreaming stories. Student will express and share their ideas through different art forms. Landscapes, portraits and birds eye view will incorporated into art work. Students will also use mathematical knowledge of 3D shapes to create 3D art forms. In creative arts, students can chose from a variety of activities including retelling and acting out dreaming stories, creating and using aboriginal dance movements. Students will investigate local and Australian landscape artists to assist with the creation of their own piece of work.

 

Canvases for the Quiz Night looked amazing, students worked together to produce a class canvas to be auctioned off.                       Students enjoyed producing these.

 

Students in LA 4 have entered the Royal Adelaide Show Junior art, all work will be on display in the Goyder Pavilion at the showgrounds during the week of the show.
