Early Years Reflection

Sports Day 2015

The Early Years Sports Day was an exciting and well run tabloid event.  It was so evident that the students were having a lot of fun from the beaming smiles on their faces.  Children participated with great enthusiasm and showed good sportsmanship.  It was great to see our school keys of 'Getting Along', 'Persistence' and 'Confidence' displayed throughout each event.  Well done to the yellow team on winning the Lockleys North Primary 2015 Sports Day Cup.

Nepal Walk

Fantastic effort by all the Early Year Classes on completing their walk for such a worthwhile cause. The students all enthusiastically participated in the walk and enjoyed getting out in the fresh air and getting some healthy exercise.  The whole school combined raised over $10 000!  Thank you to all families and friends of the Lockleys North Primary community for such a generous and outstanding effort in fundraising and assisting others less fortunate than ourselves. Please keep your eye out in the Newsletter for updates to see how our donation has been received and assistant communities in Nepal.

Footsteps 2015

I hear the sound of happy little feet!!  All our Early Years classes participated energetically and enthusiastically during their dance routines.  Great efforts were made by all students to learn new steps and hand movements individually and then put them all together to create jazzy dance pieces.  Again it was evident that students were concentrating hard to get their co ordination right to be able to successfully produce different dance moves. Some moves were more tricky than others. Children were demonstrating the key of 'persistence'  during the 'Footsteps Dance Program'. Excellent effort by all the 'little dancers' in our Early Year classes.
